Using the light weight luggage will help your back. Preferably choose a case that have wheels that allow you to push rather than pull the case.
If you don’t think your luggage is going to stand out on the carousel then tie some coloured ribbon or string on the handles or coloured straps around the body.
At the airport
It’s tempting to use a trolley to move your luggage, however, if your case has wheels then our advice is to leave the trolley toone side. So often a trolley will have wonky wheels which means you have to put a lot of pressure on your back to keep it going where you want it to!
When you get off your flight, get moving as soon as possible by walking and not using travelators.
On the flight
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water or juices. Avoid alcohol as it will dehydrate you.
