1: Keep active

When the rush of Christmas Day is over, it can be tempting to do nothing more than slouch in front of your favourite Christmas movies. But this is no good for your spine or your overall health.    Make sure you keep active over the Christmas holidays. Your body and mind will thank you for it.

 2: Go easy on the alcohol

Mulled wine, Bucks Fizz, champagne, the Christmas tipple list goes on and on. Those units can really start to add up over the festive period, so be mindful of how much you drink.

3: Don’t stuff yourself too much

Did you know that your Christmas lunch could contain around 3,000 calories? That’s more than the entire recommended daily intake for a fully grown man!  Instead of feasting on a gigantic roast, why not eat a normal-sized meal and then see how hungry you feel after 20 minutes?  You’ll probably find that you actually don’t want anymore to eat.
