1: Plan in Advance
Instead of trying to be a hero and doing everything at once, prepare some of your dishes in advance. This will reduce the amount of time you need to spend standing in the kitchen and lessen your risk of picking up a back injury.
2: Walk Around
Standing or sitting in one position for too long is one of the worst things you can do for your back. So make sure you keep switching positions and moving around!
3: Use your Worktop
To ease pressure on your spine when in the kitchen, lean on your worktop for 10-15 seconds at a time.
